The capital city of United States is the Washington DC (District of Columbia)with the total area of 9372614 square kilometers and population of 3 hundred million. The United States is located in North America, opposite to the Atlantic ocean to the East, near the Pacific ocean to the West, contiguous with Canada to the North and in the neighborhood of Mexico to the South. Many rivers like the Mississippi river flow through the central section of the country. There are 50 states in total and the biggest city is New York. Due to the influx of many people from all over the world, United States is country with diverse cultures.
