Recently, to improve students' English abiliy, especially our oral English, our student union hase decided to hold a speech contest at 7:00p.m. June 25. The competition was held at school meeting room and five professors presented to be the judges. There were 20 students competed and only top 6 students were awarded. To our surprise, more than three hundred students showed up at the scene.
The competition stumulated the students interest in learning English and also amused the students.
